Hi, I’m Georgie Lewindon – Glew. I thrive on connecting businesses’ marketing to their strategic goals and helping to ensure it’s carried out responsibly.
As a ten-year-old I had aspirations of becoming a detective; as a marketer my role is not too dissimilar to one. Successful marketing is all about investigating problems and uncovering evidence to ‘connect the dots’.
Now a CIM-qualified Chartered Marketer with a research-based Masters and over 16 years’ experience in market research, brand development, marketing strategy and campaign management, I’m able to provide strategic guidance across the whole spectrum of marketing.
Before I set up Glew, I worked predominantly in in-house marketing roles, building marketing functions and implementing strategies from scratch. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of helping a number of organisations, from professional services’ firms, a medical training provider and a pharmacy chain, to non-profit charities, PR agencies and a ballet company, connect their marketing with their core goals.
As a Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) Wales Board member, I am actively involved in supporting and building the Welsh marketing community.
I also spend some of my free time writing about connections between marketing and parenting on my Marketer Mum blog.
If you recognise the need for a more measured and structured approach to your marketing, please feel free to get in touch for an informal chat.
